We obtained the services of 1st Stone Credit Counseling a while back for approx. $5,000.  We were told that they would help us clear up some past issues on our credit report.  They told us that this would improve our credit score.  This has been over 2 years and our credit score has remained the same.  It has been very frustrating and we have complied with everything that they have instructed us to do.  It is extremely hard to get information from them.  You have to call them - they do not call you with information.  I am pretty sure if I did not place a call to them that they would just dismiss us all together.  They do not seem very concerned with the client, and sadly we are clients that give them time and allow them to do their job.  Sadly, we do not get response even when we try to grant them that!  Beware if you call to get information and you end up getting Bruce Danielson on the phone - He is a bragger!  He does not want to talk about what you paid them to do, but he prefers to talk about himself and what he has done in his life.  He talks about our government and OH, what HE has done in his life!  Need I say more?  I cannot stand people that speak so highly of themselves.  We went to this company due to the advertisement that we heard on a Christian radio station.  We were in hopes that this was a Christian company; we are getting the impression that it is not.  There seems to be a lack of regard for the customer.  JD will sometimes call you back, and she seems to be doing all the leg work and Bruce takes the credit (which they are married).  We were in hopes to get our home refinanced once our credit score was improved, and we have been diligent to do everything FSCC has instructed us to do, but there has not been any improvement in our score like they stated there would be.  We are still in the same boat that we were in when we came to them 2 years ago and we are out $5,000 for the lack of service provided. We work very hard for our money and we expected some type of return. We could have put that money in the bank and got just as much as what FSCC has provided us - at least the bank pays a small percentage!  I'm not sure what is going on but we have just about had it with these people.  JD will contact you for the 1st month, but then they will stop calling you.  This is when you are left wondering and you will have to contact them.  There are a lot of empty words when they lure you in.  It should be a red flag to anyone who goes in or calls when they speak to Mr. Danielson.  I am not sure if this company is a Christian company - if they are claiming to be then they should be know by their "fruit".  It appears to us that Mr. Danielson is reaping $$ from clients just so he can brag and boast about his past accomplishments.  A scripture comes to mind that covers his very attitude and we should be VERY CAUTIOUS with him. Proverbs 11:2 "Proud and boastful people will be shamed, but wisdom stays with those who are modest and humble."  Mr. Danielson should be ashamed of himself in all of his boastfulness.  This company should treat the customer with more respect.  Customers have paid a lot of money for a service that seem to be neglected.  THAT IS A SHAME!
