24/7 Loyal Services LLC Express Locksmith Slamming Customers and Charging my bank card without telling me how much their service was. Rialto california
I used 24/7 Express Locksmith because i had locked myself out of my house.
The tech showed up about 30 minutes late and would not give me a price. He simply kept stating that the service call was $15.
He opened the door and asked me to initial two items one said it was for opening the door and the other one that was for changing the lock. So I initialed the items like he requested again I asked how much it was going to be and he replied it will just be a minute man.
He got on the phone and wrote down a bunch of numbers and finally hands me my receipt neatly folded receipt. When I opened the receipt he had charged $450 to my bank card.
They bank has sided with them because they said that I authorized the payments because my initials were next to the prices, however, those pricces were not there when he asked me to initial.
These people are thieves, unethical and you SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
I see that I am not the only one that has had this issue with them. I think a class action law suit is what is needed for slamming and ripping off customers.

This locksmith scam has been around for years. I also found out the hard way about a decade ago. It isn't limited to just this company either. It is nationwide. You can look it up on the FTC.gov website. This scam is run by thugs through a boiler room type call center. The names are fake. Even the addresses the scammers have listed as their business addresses are fake. They show up in unmarked vehicles and are not trained to be an actual locksmith.
The whole idea is to tell you a very low service fee and then when they get there to charge an outrageous price - just like you (and I) experienced.
The best way to prevent this in the future is to add to your database the name, address and phone number of a true locksmith in your area. You want a local brick and morter location and you will need to verify it is real. Not as easy as looking up on google but worth it in the long run. The other alternative, for your vehicle, is to get AAA or similar auto club so you don't have to search online when you have an issue. The scammers have figured out a way to look local in the search engines so you need to do your homework.
One other tip: never, ever initial or sign a document that has blanks in it. This tip will save you thousands over the years. If the individual that is pushing the paperwork (electronic or otherwise) on you insists, you know you are going to get scr**ed.
