Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Here is my moving experience that I had recently during month of April 2007 when I have relocated myself from Owings Mills, Maryland 21117 to Tallahassee, Florida 32309.

At the time of finalizing contract with 495 Relocation movers I had gone through DRSnationwide movers.

The biggest joke is both 495 relocation and DRS Nationwide movers both are sharing same office location/office which includes same fax number (actually same owner owns same company). Initially I thought will confirm my moving contract with DRSNationwide movers but just at the same time sales person from 495relocation movers calls me and gave me quote much less then DRSNationwide movers and also offered me much more services for very less price. I did doubt about 495 relocation movers at the time when they were offering very less quote with lot of benefits (Full Insurance, free pick-up & drop-off, loading, unloading, including taxes, tips, furniture protection, bubble wrap, tape, any floor delivery for free or no extra charge etc..) you name it he was giving it for free but at the same time DRSNationwide sales person was also trying to match 495movers quote and finally they gave up. So I decided to go with 495 movers which are actually working together with same management.

I spent several hundred dollars buying boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, and shrink wrap per Guy's instruction. Upon arrival his movers immediately tore almost all of my packing apart and proceeded to re-pack my items at an additional cost of almost $300.

My actual agreed cost for my moving was quoted $1100 and ended up paying $1800 in addition to given delivery date, my items were delivered pretty much late by additional 2 weeks due to which it coasted me additional $500 to survive with bare necessities.

Now comes the other end of movers experience, FINALLY movers truck showed up at my destination location after 2 weeks late of their actual promised date (in between I had to follow-up, argue, have verbal heated up conversation or sometimes listed to sales person threats for example if you continue to check for status we will not deliver your items, or we can not guarantee if all the packed items will be delivered or not etc., they even threatened me that any items that are lost is not their responsibility and my paid insurance will not be covered)

OK, when the truck driver showed up at my new location he did do little estimation of my apartments which is in 2nd floor and he started asking me to pay him $500 in cash in order to download unload my stuff. I had to call back to sales person who was another pain to talk, I pretty much had to give my attorney reference and possible law suite that I decided to file and not sure what happen but that sales guy called this truck driver cell phone and they talked in their Italian language and this driver started downloaded all my stuff and throwing things in my house.

All the time he was talking to his partner who can along with & helping in unloading in Italian language which I couldn't understand a single word but for sure I feel he was mad at me and must be using some bad words.

First of all I have no idea how these people come to this country and have no proper qualification of communication and what happen to all the immigration/border security offices for not doing proper validation and checking on these type of people who are doing business with day light robbery and giving so much head ache to legal residents in USA.

The best part is they do publish on their website that they are BBB certified but still they are continuing to do their business as they feel like

I have no idea what type of action is taking place to handle these type of business people but definitely I am very disappointed to see such companies are still in business and openly challenging customers to do what ever you what to complain about our business etc and no one could do anything or take any action on these type of movers since day one so what are you going do etc.,

If you need more information please do let me know and I can give you more details on it and share some of my moving experience in detail and hopefully it will help you doing better judgment prior to confirming you move with these useless movers.

DRS Transport and Storage, a YLS Logistic Center INC. entity, is operating without authority. MC# 559967, a YLS Logistic Center DBA, [has been] operating without authority for some time. They do not have an active broker license and have been doing business since the license was revoked... Customers have been contacted by Guy Aliam under the assumption that they will be moving with DRS Transport and Storage, who's Legal name is L.H. Telemarketing Solutions, and DRS does not inform clients that it is a Broker. Their are tons of complaints out about their operations/business practices: RipOff Reports YLS: 08/16/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/206/RipOff0206452.htm Smooth Move: 10/08/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/277/RipOff0277050.htm 09/24/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/250/RipOff0250031.htm 06/11/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/253/RipOff0253820.htm 02/03/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/234/RipOff0234255.htm 01/18/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/231/RipOff0231278.htm 11/07/06-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/219/RipOff0219364.htm 09/20/06-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/196/RipOff0196225.htm DRS: 10/22/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/280/RipOff0280198.htm 8/28/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/269/RipOff0269773.htm 08/13/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/266/RipOff0266935.htm 495: 10/25/07-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/280/RipOff0280818.htm Helping Hnads: 07/09/06-http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/200/RipOff0200136.htm YLS Logistic Center operations in general, whether under the guise of smooth move, DRS, helping hands, personal relocation, 495 relocation services, or any other DBA/ alias, are quite immoral and unethical in nature. Individuals seeking relocaion services should stay far away from this incorporated scammer.
