A 1 powersports Bill Gillespie Buyers Beware Billings Montana
A-1 Powersports does not stand behind their ATV's or UTV's. The owner Bill Gillespie is a class act BS'er.We were looking for a UTV for my elderly father. Bill showed us one that he had that had been used for a demo for his shop. He told us what a great machine it was. We purchased it in 2011. He informed us that it needed an updated wiring harness and when he got it he would install it for us at no cost. With in a week of bringing it home it wouldn't start. Bill had to bring a "mechanic" out to fix some faulty wiring. That should have been the first clue. This whole thing just s****.>
We have taken it back to A-1 powersports repetedly. The machine has 1810.08 miles on it. Not even 2,000 miles on it. The shortest time Bill has ever had it was to change oil...which he never did because he said it didn't need it..it had synthetic oil. That took 2 weeks. The last time he had it it was to figure out why it wouldn't start. He had it for 3 months. He does not have certified mechanics as he states in his web site. The machine sat there at his shop outside in the snow and rain and freezing weather. He does not back his stuff...he does not have certified mechanics and he lies like a carpet. He changes mechanics like most people change shoes. We have a machine that ya can't get parts for nor can anyone fix it so we are stuck with a 9,000$ machine that is just collecting dust. We have also met another person that has had the same kind of service from Bill. Do not trust or purchase his line of BS. He is very good at looking sincere.
