A And A Lake Tahoe Inn Dishonest hotel staff - very bad experience South Lake Tahoe California
The hotel manager did not have out reservation, which we had made a few days back on priceline.com. The reservation was made for 1 room with two queen beds for 2 nights. When I called the hotel manager on the day of arrival, just to tell him that we would be checking in late (around 3 am) he told me to bring the Priceline printout with me.
After reaching there (at around 3:30 am) the hotel manager said that he does not have our reservation and does not recognize the company (priceline.com) from which we made reservation from. After making us call multiple times to the customer service of priceline.com, he agreed to give us the room and made us fill in reservation forms. But again he was not willing to give us the room at the same price as we had reserved it for.
So we decided not to stay at the hotel and ended up staying in a motel near by (Super 8).
The manager of A and A Lake tahoe Inn charged us for one night stay. This kind of charge can be made if a person makes a reservation (with the hotel i.e. hotel is holding a room for the person and that room is not available to any other customer) but does not show up. The fact that the hotel manager did not have our reservation before we arrived at the hotel indicates that he did not save a room specifically for us. Just because we filled some forms at the hotel does not mean we have to stay there. But since he had all the information with him, he went ahead and charged us for one night stay.
When we discussed this with the XXX motel manager, he told us that they always get customers that are not treated fairly at the A and A lake tahoe inn motel.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
