A Auto Repair Liar and a Cheat houston texas
Had my car I am restoring towed to A Auto Repair 8504 hillcroft to have the motor rebuilt 0n feb. 18,and was told on feb 23 to come in and leave a deposit which I did,of 500.00 toward a total of 2200.00 for engine rebuild.I was told the car would be ready on march 7. I called them on 3-7-14 and they said the car was not ready and that I would be called when it was. I got a call on march 24 saying that it was ready so me and a friend went over to get it.When I arrived i asked to hear my car run and the guy Mike had his worker to start the car. It sounded loud the exhaust was not connected in front and I told the guy that my car was not fixed and we argued and I was told to leave his property.About a month later on 4-7-14 I received a call from them saying that the car was ready and that I could come get it .This time I hired a wrecker to meet me over there .I arrived there and paid the guy the balance due of 1700.00 without starting the car and hearing it run i got my receipt and he told his worker to take my car accross the street in the foodarama parking lot where I met him and took possession of my car .It was smoking and leaving black stains on the pavement,the engine was knocking and it would not stay running without raising the motor .I had the wrecker to bring it to my home where I had 2 of my friends who are mechanics to look at the car and they both told me that the motor had not been rebuilt and that it was the same engine that was there at first and that the people at A Auto Repair had not rebuilt my engine as promised and had charged me 2200.00 and basically done nothing they told me to bring the car back because it has a 3 year warranty well if they didnt do the right thing the first time what guarantee do i have that they will do right this time? They should pay for a wrecker to have it towed back to them since they advertise free towing with work performed.They lied to the BBB and said that they had performed the work thatwas called for on the invoice Nott!!!
