A New Concept Management - West Coast Castings Consultant They scam me out of $360.00. I had trusted them and had no ideal that they would scam me out of my money. I was told by them that my acting career could get started immediately for $300.00. I paid the money, and signed a contract. I have also paid $60.00 for some photos. I only received one photo from them. They taken more than one photo of me. They lied to me about everything. I've been scamed. San Diego California
My name is Eddie. i'm a 42 year old african american. i am attending san diego city college. I live in san diego california. I'm learning to be an actor. i want to make a career out of acting. i've gotten a call one day while sitting at home. It was from a company by the name of "A New Concept Management". They ask that I come there to see them.They state to me that they want to see how I would look on their camera. They also want to see how my personality was.
I went there. I talk to one of the employees. he asked me some questions. then he asked me if i had brought any headshots with me. I told him no. he never told me that i had to bring a headshot with me. he stated that he want the photos some that he can show them to agents and so on. he told me that his photograher could take some professional photo shots of me, for $60.00. i did'nt have the money at the time. i told him that i will have the money tommorrow, and that i would be happy to come back and get my pictures taken by his photographer. I returned the next day, and his so-call photographers had taken photos of me.
The photographers told me that some agent or casting director would call me back in a few days, to tell me what they think about my photos, and how I could oneday start my acting or modeling career. I beleived they call me back in about three days. They wanted me to have an appointment with one of their casting directors. The casting director told me that I could start my career right now, and that she had a ward robe already for me to get started, and was ready to put me to work right now, for my modeling and acting career. i was so excited. She told me that i would have to pay $300.00 dollars before I can get started.I did'nt have the money at that time.
I said, in about a week or so, i collected $200.00. I went back to her with the $200.00, and she wrote out a receipt and gave it to me. I then told her that I will return once i have the remainding part of the money, which a course was $100.00. I returned to her in about a few days, with the $100.00, and gave it to her. Please be advise that all this had happen at A New Concept Management. Anyway.
After I gave her the money, she took me to an office which is across the way from the office that we were sitting in (A new concept management). THe name of this office is west coast casting consultant. She introduce me to another lady. I remember her name. Nora was her name I was told. This lady also told me that I will be able to get agents, and emails from all types of agents, and casting directors. She stated that I would be able to search for jobs and so on. SHe told me that i will be able to start an acting and modeling career.She told me to register on their web site. which is "www.wccc.tv".
She stated that on this website will be a photo of me so that all the casting directors will be able to seen my photos and send me emails for auditioning and so on. I had registered on this website, and could not fine my photo at all. in fact, this website would not let me do any job searches. And that not all.
I've gotten nothing out of my money. i went to ask their photographers for my photos. They only gave me one big photo, and some little ones. That's all i gotten out of $360.00. I know that there are bigger photos missings. They're probably using them for their benefit. I've talk to these 2 companies, and all they gave me is excuses. I have been scammed, and lied to. They burn me out of $360.00.00.
It would be nice to have my money back
