A Woman's Time is a nationally recognized clinic with a stellar reputation. However if you have insurance, patient beware! This clinic has a history of 'losing claims,' sending patients to collections without notifying the patient of an outstanding balance, billing for services rendered one, two years prior, 'squatting' on claims by not sending them into the respected insurance company thus having the claim denied and billing the patient for the entire amount, the list is endless...if there exists a way to commit a comedy of errors with insurance claims, AWT is the answer. These words are not slander but written by someone who witnessed the mishandlings on a daily basis. If only there was an auditing entity for clinics...

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sun, April 26, 2009

This report was filed in 2002 from an intern who came to work for me and then on a day i had paid for her to go to a seminar she walked out on the staff and us. She came to do an internship to finish up her requirements for school and then i hired her on to help do insurance claims that had stacked up due to an employee that had left and was in the process of being let go for that very reason. This employee has since this report continued to include me as a reference for her past employment which is a puzzle to me...If you believe that someone is committing fraud and you walk out with no notice when the company is willing pay to train you more why would you put them down as a reference. We were all shocked with her abruptness of leaving and wish her the best. This was seven years ago. Our staff has a stellar reputation and we have no issues with filing claims or any other issue with our patients and you can check out our reputation with the Better Business Bureau which is A+. You can call me directly with any questions, Karen Hudson 503-222-2322 or email me at [email protected] It is often that a disgruntled employee will write something because they were fired or reprimanded for some reason. That is not the case here and so her comments are all that much more puzzling when she was hired to do the insurance job she is complaining about. Very puzzling and again we wish her all the best.
