Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
One fact that needs to be know is ALL AAMCO centers are independently owned and operated and there is nothing home office can do about what their center owners choose. If a customer is not satisfied they should speak with the owner of the AAMCO center.

AAmco centers owners really not owner operated,

Aamco has a operations center in the home office that dictate to the owners how to run thier business.

Example of this is Aamco plays ding-A-ling to its centers, Aamco shops thier member centers to make sure that the members are on tract....

Aamco and its members has a printed tract that they follow when a customer calls for transmission work. Just ask Them.

The trick about this canned tract is to get you to come in the Aamco center so they can then give you the rest of the training they got at Aamcos Ding-A-Ling school at the home office..

AAmco plays this at the home office to make sure the owners are on tract.

Just ask any owner if they do in fact have a pre-printed tract that the home office wants them to follow??? Any honest Aamco owner should answer this question with a yes.

And if they dont follow this line of crap, Aamco may call them up to the home office to remind them that they must follow this tract,or go through Ding-A-ling school again.

You if every Aamco center WAS independently owned and operated

they would NOT need a operations department.

Aamco even holds contest as to how much thier centers can earn in a months time $$ upsell!!! You

Can you sue Aamco home office? YES.

If you can get a copy of the franchise aggrement read it!!

You see every Aamco center IS NOT independently operated.

Tranzmn you are right Where you might get the impresion that I hate Aamco thats not all true I have worked for some very good shops who really cared about what was being done. But I do hate those who take something good and do thier best to make it bad. As far as owners they are weak people lets face it home office hangs them out to dry so in comes mister salesman and he does have a record for high sales but if they were smart they would look at this guys work history he don't stay long and the x employer is left cleaning up the mess but all this poor owner see's is the high sales. How does this owner get the name of salesman? Home office. Greg

TO THE AAMCO SUPPORTER /GREG~~~The object of the game is to sell the work for the most money~~~~~NO MATTER WHAT!!!!~~~~~disable the car as you lowball the work then upsell to the maxx~~~once its out of the car have a number to charge that the customer "cannot" go anywhere else because at that point between the tow/other costs it makes sense to go ahead~~~~~~alot of shops hire whoever they can for the least amount "not all" at this point the parts changer has your car to practice on~~~so they can learn to be tranzmission espertz~~~~~~most don't understand powerflow or simple hydraulics ~~~~~~~the other side of the coin is the r/r man~~~"remove/replace~~~~~they also have the learn as you earn mentality~~~~~quality is expensive to learn if no one can teach you in the shop.~~~ The head office is interested in their 7 1/2 percent along with advertizing moneys~~~~~~~so at this point WHO CARES!!!! no body as long as your money stays with the shop~~~~~~~ SO TELL ME SUPPORTER IS ANY OF THIS A LIE???? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~THE TRANZMN

I have been to those school while you do have a written tract to follow and some time is spent on it, They mainly focus on rebuttals and how to handle them. The trick is to get them in. And yes they even have a price list but no one follows that after all the salesman gets paid by the amount of trans sold. Gee I remember when the price for the old 350 and 400s went up how was it explained by the operation's manager from home office whats the difference between a tran sold for 500 and a tranny sold for 700? just ask. Greg
