ABC Finance Ripoff illegal fraudulent billing San Diego California
In 2004 I was approached by a sales girl from this ABC Finance in San Diego, California. I had been in the military before, and was trying to get back into the Army National Guard. Anyway, the girl wouldn't tell me what exactly they were selling, only that I could get a free cd if I went to the office, even if I bought nothing. Well, I went to the office, it was explained to me that this was some sort of discounted photo processing offer for members of the military, and if I signed up I would get a free camera. I explained to the girl that I wasn't in the military, and that I was just trying to get back in, I even had to sign a form that said I was going to get back in or the offer was null and void. Anyway, I was unable to get back in to the military, but this still ended up on my credit report. The amount I supposedly owe is over $3,000. I've tried going through the credit bureaus to dispute this, but they never take it off. If you're in the military in San Diego and ever get approached buy someone from this company, (last I knew they were downtown across from Horton Plaza.) don't talk to them. By the way, I never got my camera or my free cd.
