Academic Advantage SCAM DONT ACCEPT EMPLOYMENT FROM THEM chicago, Illinois
The Chicago offices of Academic Advantage are a group of people who do not have credible work ethics, and are not professional with any of their buisiness practices in this office. When you fax over paperwork their fax machines never work, if you email paper they ask you to call and verify if it has been received, they say yes and then a few days later they will not have your paper work that was received. Also if you fill out paperwork so that tax deductions can be made from your payroll, no taxes are taken out nor do they furnish check stubs if you receive direct deposit to give a physical explanation as to how the pay is (LIKE ALL COMPANIES DO WHEN YOU RECEIVE DIRECT DEPOSIT).
Academic Advantage is a scam. Do not accept employment with this company. The idea of tutoring underprivileged children is the hook they draw you in with, but they'll make you fill out reams of paperwork to receive payment for the hours you perform. They will also go to whatever lengths they can to not pay you.
Their lies:
"We can't find your paperwork."
"Fax it to us and we'll fix it"
"Send us an e-mail and we'll work it out for you."
Avoid them like the plague.
