Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Accelerated Autosports contacted my company to be their sole distributor of turbo kits. After extensive talks for a month and 2 good orders, I placed additional orders for 3 more turbo kits in October, 04. It is now March 05, and I have not yet recieved these kits.

The gross negligence of this company is mind boggling. We were told the kits were shipping at least 3 seperate times, that they were boxed up and ready to go. Each time I asked for tracking numbers and got brushed off. My customers are rightfully outraged and nervous about their money/kits.

Now it is March, and we find out that the parts are not even completely made. I have sent several private messages on various internet forums, made repeated phone calls(just to have the phones disconnected), and even made this a public affair on a message board. I do not enjoy this, I feel it damages my company reputation as well, but I am left with no other option. My customers are entitled to their product.

AAI/Donald Eley/Real Speed LLC's customer service skills are non-existant, even insulting. The amount of neglect, asinine behavior, and failure to complete paid orders is unacceptable. To add insult to injury, it turns out that this is far from the first complaint that has been filed with AAI.

Several people are in litigation with AAI to sue them for failure to complete their order in the time specified.

Under no circumstances, should anyone do business with this man/company(s). He may tell you that all the problems have been worked out, but in reality that could not be further from the truth. All he and his wife (Jen) do are lie.

Now I am insulted by the AAI receptionist

I just called AAI again and left a message, so the phone is working again. I got a call back, telling me that my customers know where my intercoolers are, and that no information will be given to me under any circumstances, Donald Eley's customer. Jennifer Eley and Donald Eley are refusing to inform their customer, me, of the order status. I let this go for several weeks, and Donald/Jennifer still refuses to inform me. We spoke to Jennifer several times so far tonight, and all she has done is insult us, and tell us that we are no longer allowed to call the number given to us by Donald. Stay away from AAI/Donald Eley under all circumstances.

Trying to find legitimate business information seems to be impossible

Accelerated Autosports was dissolved on 10/1/2004 by Donald Eley. I have a copy of the report from the State of Florida stating this. Trying to find legitimate business information seems to be impossible, as the state, local, or federal governments have any business information for Donald Eley or Jennifer Eley (who is listed by the Better Business Bureau as the contact for AAI). Orders have still yet to be completed and shipped. Donald Eley has told us that he sent the intercoolers out to be made, 6 months after the initial order. Accelerated Autosports is no longer a business in the State of Florida. Real Speed Service was not a LLC, but an Inc. They are no longer in business either. Donald Eley has no legal grounds to conduct the business that he does. See AAI's dissovled company report here: http://sunbiz.org/scripts/cordet.exe?a1=DETFIL&n1=P02000012522&n2=NAMFWD&n3=0000&n4=N&r1=&r2=&r3=&r4=ACCELERATEDAUTOSPORTS&r5=

More False Statements

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

I have never opened an LLC in any state, at any time. I was involved with a company by the name of Real Speed Service prior to opening Accelerated Autosports. I have not opened any other company since Accelerated Autosports, in any state, at all, absolutely none. Real Speed Service was dissolved in 2003. I have no idea what this person is talking about. All of my statements here are public record in the state of Florida and can be easily verified. It has been 5 months since the orders in question were placed and there are only a couple pieces left to be shipped out. While this is not an acceptable time frame at all, it still hasnt been 6 months and people have been receiving parts for a couple months now. To say that he has received nothing for his $8400 is an absolute lie. I have tracking numbers to verify that parts have been shipped to each of his customers. I'm not sure what this gentlemen is talking about as far as the litigation incidents. I havent been contacted by any lawyer for nearly a year now and I don't believe for a second that an officer of the court would not be able to get ahold of me.

shut down Accelerated Autosports, Inc and opened Real Speed, LLC two days later, but is still doing business under the name AAI

He is right that he is not currently involved in litigation, but that is becuase he will not answer the door to have papers served to him. I have been told by my lawyer, who is currently representing someone else against AAI as well, that they have been trying to contact him since November. It is then that he shut down Accelerated Autosports, Inc and opened Real Speed, LLC two days later, but is still doing business under the name AAI.

We spent $8400 with AAI/Donald Eley. That entitles us to make all the phone calls we want and find out where our product is. Failure to answer the phone for over a week and then give vague answers as to the status, or flat out lies, is unacceptable. There have never been any personal threats made, only business.

Upon me becoming the distributor for his company, I was contacted by at least 3 people who have partial turbo kits and have been waiting, now, for over a year to get their parts. This is not an isolated incident, as most everyone who cannot show up to his door to collect their parts has a bad experience. Several other people I have talked to have said that it does take 6 months for Donald Eley to build a turbo kit and ship it out, whereas other companies can build and ship turbo kits in 4-5 weeks. And if it takes him 6 months, than that is what he should say. Had I been told the truth about the time frame from the beginning and not told repeatedly that the parts were boxed and ready to be shipped I would not be talking to a lawyer.

Partial kits have shipped. But several pieces are missing from them, and I come to find out that Donald Eley has yet to even build them! What was he doing for the past 6 months?

This complaint is about 50% truth and 50% lie. This person has never been lied to and has never been told that items are boxed up when they were not. There have been substantial delays, which have not been helped by the harassing and threatening phone calls received from John Ritenour and his girlfriend Lauren.

We are not involved in litigation with anyone at all. His statement that we are is a total lie.

All 3 of his customers have received partial shipments as of 3/15/05 and the remaining parts are nearly completed.

This is one customers bad experience. There are dozens upon dozens who have had excellent experiences and continue to deal with us.
