acorn stairlifts canada the worst service. sales staff excellent but once they've got your money and you've installed it...poor service Mississauga Ontario canada
great initial experience. friendly and helpful during the sales process. but if you need help with set up or after installation help, calls go unanswered. service calls are over several days. staff is unknowledgeable about the product and how it works.
seem to be reading from a manual. left several messages after my mother got stuck on the stairs. unacceptable.
beware of extended warranties. means nothing if service is poor. product is average and on par with competitors so pricing should be no higher than about $3,000 for straight lift. if over that, you;ve over paid.
curves are over inflated and take twice as long as competitors. beware of the rep pushing or rushing to get it installed ASAP. will likey tell you they are very busy. or soon to be out of stock etc.
as well be VERY WEARY of getting a great price on a straight lift. many times these are used, returns, manuf rejects and or old old models with electronic issues. i.e. getting stuck on the stairs!!! usually they will offer you a 30 day warranty. BEWARE. they have no obligation to service the unit and this is legal. BUYER BEWARE!!
