Active Periodicals How to solve ripoff Deer Field Beach Florida
I posted my complaint on this company on March 18, 2004. Since then I think I have figured out what to do. We did it anyway, and it stopped.
What we did was contacted the Better Business Bureau.... not once, not twice, but about four times, and every different way we could think of. We told them exactly what was going on and that we wanted it stopped or we would seek legal help.
After we did that, we went on a small trip. When we got home, there was a message on the machine from the "President" of "Active Periodicals" saying she was sorry and we would never be contacted again.
Finally, we felt we had done it. About three weeks later though, a "blocked call" showed up one night about 8:30pm. It was someone asking for my husband about a "magazine subscription". I screamed at this girl telling her that I was calling my lawyer and I had a "promise" from the president of her company saying I would never be contacted again. We never were contacted again.
Just be firm with this company. Tell them "NO" and DON'T GIVE IN TO ANYTHING!!!! Contact the BBB immeadiately and seek legal help if you need to.
