Active Periodicals almost rip-off Deerfield Beach Florida
I was contacted by representitives of this company, telling me I had won a gold and diamond watch as well as free magazines, I only had to pay for 1 magazine subscription. I was fairly busy at the time with my young son and before I realised what I had done they had my bank details.
After I had put the telephone down I realised how much I had commited to pay. I had a sick feeling that something was wrong. I wanted to call back and cancel, but realised that I didn't know their number. I quickly checked on the internet and of course there were all these reports on the company. Thank you so much for this website.
Needless to say I have cancelled my bank account and I called the number above where I cancelled the subscriptions in front of a witness over a speaker phone( the rudeness on the other end....unreal)This "customer service" representative said she did not know the people who contacted me( "Jennifer" and "Ms Roberts")or how to locate them.
I will wait and see if they send me an account!! At least I have an impartial witness that heard the cancellation conversation, and the response that you have 30 days to cancel.
