Adam Perez United Home Improvement Walked off contract after taking 98% of contract money and left 30% of work unfinished Tyler TX
Adam Perez, the owner of United Home Improvement signed a contract to remodel our house. We accepted his bid relying on his reviews on the Home Advisor site. He is a LIAR! Do NOT trust anything that he says unless you can see it. He is unqualified to be a contractor, and not knowledgeable about the details of the work to be done. Painting is his specialty, and the painting that he did for us was not professional quality work.
The work began in October 2018, with optimistic assurances to be done in January, or February at the latest. He took weekly payments for his payroll and materials then VACATED the job in early February after drawing approximately 98% of the full contract amount, and leaving at least 1/3 of the work to be done. He will not return calls or text messages.
He made contracts with the subcontractors for electrical work, plumbing, and cabinet work. The electrician refuses to complete the work until he has been paid by Perez. The cabinet maker refuses to complete the installation of the cabinets as promised after being paid in full.
