Complaint Review: Adam Rex - Virginia Beach Virginia

To those who have found this internet listing by researching my name or company name please read this response to the above post.

Beginning in 2009 an organization called www.4moreappointments.com began sending me junk email trying to get me to purchase peoples names and information so I could then call these individuals and businesses  and try to sell them something.  For those of you who know me, you know that is not my M.O. and I ignored them for a long period of time.  We do not call people unsolicited.  After about 2 years I sent a unsubscribe email.  The next week I received another email so I sent another "unsubscribe email.  A few months passed and I began to receive them again.  I sent a third request to unsubscribe, and then in the 4th email I asked them to please make sure I didnt end up back on the list.  One week later I received another email, I sent a response informing them that they needed to comply with my request to which the sender (Steve) wrote a rude response essentially telling me that I could not unsubscribe.  I responded and copied the owner of the company as well as the IT contact.  In that email I informed him that his company was already on this site (ripoffreport.com).   I didnt receive any follow-up and assumed it was resolved.

A friend who was looking for my contact information found this post and passed it along.  Here are the facts of this post:

It is written by a guy named Steve (I will protect his privacy for now and not provide a last name) who lives in Iowa / not a woman from Va. Beach.

The complaints are all bogus and he was trying to beat me to the punch, however, it is never good to have your name on this type of website.  The concerns are all without merit.  If you read the entire post you will see that he knows nothing about our business model and how we operate so it was clearly just written to get back at me (for not wanting to receive spam from his company?).

 How am I so certain to make these statements?  1.) The picture used in this post is only found in one spot and that is on our website.  2.) I have Steves IP address and MAC address (thanks to his ISP also based in Cedar Rapids Iowa) on our website the night this post was made 3.) there was only one IP visitor to the site that entire day  4.) This post was made on the same evening of my last email when I told them to remove me.

I contacted this website to have it removed but they will not do that because they think it would compromise the integrity of the site.

So you are probably asking, if you have all of this information, why havent you sued him?.

 I do have an attorney who is ready to pursue this and is confident I would win on at least 4 counts of Defamation Per Se as well as a harassment charge from the FCC.  However, I am working to forgive him for this.  Not because he deserves it, but because it is a chance for me to grow and be the bigger person.  I am not saying that will not pursue it, but for right now I am working on letting it go.
