Complaint Review: ADV-ONLINE.NET & godaddy.com - SACRAMENTO California

I found the report on charges made to individuals who were charged by internet sites or they may have purchased something from an internet site and were unhappy with the results, either they didn't get what they wanted or were unhappy with what they got. Here is my solution. GoDaddy Software is right in the fact that they are not-affiliated with the company. If you go to their website you will see that you can purchase a domain name for yourself. Everyone has the right to purchase a domain name. Its like having a phone number. The only association godaddy has with these companies is the fact that the company registered a name through them. What if ADV-ONLINE.NET orWELCOMEHOME2002.COM were registered through Network Solutions???? Whould Network Solutions be held responsible. GoDaddy did not process any charges made by these two companies. These two companies would have to have a merchant account to do so. Why not find out what company was processing the charges for them and get redemption that way. Also, these individuals who registered names must have a hosting account with another company to keep their websites online... why not contact them as well and lay a finger of blame on them as well. You can find out the host company by looking at the DNS information.

They are very hostile to this process and accuse us of extortion, which is ironic, because they are members of the Better Business Bureau, which actively charges a fee to companies to keep their record clean for unsuspecting victims. I believe the person who has made this complaint, coupled Go Daddy with this company unfairly and without taking the time to learn the facts of how this industry works. I will make no apologies as Go Daddy has done nothing wrong.

The frustration of this person is eminent, but, I believe it's a good lesson to everyone reading this--KNOW WHO YOUR GIVING YOUR MONEY TO. Contact them, ask for credentials anything....Don't be so lazy and naive and start waving your credit card around then blame whomever you please because you have been taken!!!
