Don't expect Advance Auto Parts to honor their online offers. There's a different one seemingly every day and I think even they get confused.

Many of them have what they call a "Bounce Back" coupon, where when you spend a certain amount you are promised a $50 off coupon for you next purchase.

It would be a good deal if they actually e-mailed you the coupon like they said.

In my case they did not. Should be an easy fix, right? Oh no, enter customer service nightmare land. They will essentially ignore your e-mails to customer service  (for more than a week in my case) figuring you will eventually call. On the phone they make all kinds of bogus claims about why they didn't honor their offer. Of course it's all your fault even though they did not dispute the facts of the case.

It's a small matter, but if you buy from Advance Auto Parts, don't expect them to honor their offers.

I'm taking all the unused stuff back and shopping exclusively at O'Reilly's going forward.
