Affiliated Health Insurers of Florida has set up a rip off reserve account. They claim that if you have any charge backs the money will come out of this account that holds up front commissions already paid to you by United American Health Insurance. I found when I decided to move away from this agency, Tony, came up with many reasons why I now, all of a sudden, do not have several thousands of dollars in this account. He claimed an audit needs to be done prior to releasing my funds. After 2 weeks, he presents statements showing checks released to me that were never released and bring my account down to just $163.00. When I pointed out several errors, his comment to me was "prove it". I have this man on tape admitting to me that there was not enough money in this account to pay me my commissions owed to me and he also admitted that $1,450.00 of my money ended up in his pocket. I have called the state commissioner and they can not do anything. But, I am sure he already knew this.

I am with ya sista, I want to get out of one agency contract but I am getting nothing but bulls*** I only want out of one contract, I am not a big time producer... The guy -Tony- is also stalling. I know that all agents have paid for appointments with insurance companies. I am green. I also know of one agent that management has paid appointment fees. But not for anyone else. Is this not discrimination? Can I go to the state on this? This is not about money or morals. This is only about feeding my kids. I liked them but I have a mortgage payment... being a single mother. I don't understand why they are giving me such a hard time when I gave them six months and no-one ever bothered to groom me. Please let me know why you left? I think something is strange in OZ? Did you leave for uncomfortable moral reasons? I have begged, pleaded and cried, I also offered money. I just don't understand as I am green. I am going to contact the insurance commission on monday to see if there is any legal way I can get out of this. I also thought one guy was my GA but found out it is Tony that is who I need to deal with, Never was advised of this info... Please let me know!
