Vicki, That debt obviously belongs to someone else, but those morons cannot figure it out. You are unlucky enough to have the same or similar name as the original debtor. They are fishing. That is why you got the notice. When they buy these old junk debts, they have little or no documentation such as SS#, DOB, etc. And, STAY OFF THE PHONE!! NEVER speak to any debt collector on the phone.
