Afni is a company that has no regard for right or wrong, as you can see by the number of reports filed. I am dealing with them on a very similar case, Verizon, it's not me, no proof etc... What we as people need to do is not only use this forum, but also contact the Attorney General in IL. or the state that your Afni is in, they have many locations.
Once the Attorney General gets enough of the same practice complaints, only then will results happen. Such as false reports removed from your credit score, criminal actions against AFNI etc...
Also don't forget to report them to the postal inspector for mail fraud. I filed yesterday and the more the better. Also use the BBB, its easy and they also try to put some type of heat on them.
Only as a group can we end the criminal actions of a company such as AFNI. Everyone who is dealing with AFNI needs to quickly contact the Attorney General, of let them extort you every chance they can and will.
