AIM Integrated Logistics AIM National lease Bad Business Practices Girard Ohio
I was contacted by a recruiter from AIM National Lease also known as AIM Integrated Logistics. I had an interviewwith an aim employee at Clover Mountain Foods in Bridgeville, PA. I was very interested in the position and passed the interview and was setup to do a road test, passed that and then sent up to do a DOT physical and had to do a strenuous physical test by lifting weights, moving a dolly around and up steps. I passed the physical and then was sent up to Girad, OH for Orientation for a day. I then started working on the following Monday and spent the next 2 weeks doing very hard work by unloading heavey boxes and making deliveries to varies groceries stores and small restaurants, driving a day cab and refer trailer. I didn't mind the work. I Never missed a day and was never late. Everyone seemed to like me. Then on friday it got off early and the schedule was not up for the following week.
So I went home and checked the schedule at 7:00pm. They usuall post it on gmail between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. I noticed I was not on it. Onsaturday I still was not on it so I called the person doing the schedules and got a voicemail. So i left my number and waited for the call. at 5 mintues to 9:00pm he finally calls me and says things were not working out. he could not say as to why they were letting me go. He said I did nothing wrong and could not give me a reason why. I still don't know why and feel that I was wroned by this company. Seems to me I was only hired to help out the regular drivers and just used me as a slave. the drivers really didn't teach me anything, only if I asked questions then it seemed to not matter to them.
