Air Safety Flight Academy Air Safety Training Academy, Lying and Cheating Denison, Texas
I am a former employer of Dee Pinkston from his academy formerly located in Glendale, Arizona. I started working for this company because of the pay and good people located there. I then had the chance to meet Mr. Pinkston. He fired everyone in his company that actually made sense and tried to help the company.
He then hired another snake oil salesman Vlad. These two have made so many financial cuts to the company that they don't even pay their employees on time, or ever for that matter. They issued paychecks at minimum wage and told us that we all had no jobs three weeks before Christmas. This was all done behind our backs and never once has Dee communicated what was happening to the company.
A month later he said we could all start working again, and back pay would come shortly. Many employees went back to work in hopes of receiving additional wages and back compensation. As of October 9th, 2009 Dee Pinkston was 6 days late with employees wages, all while building another flight school in Denison, TX.
I have a firm warning for anyone that will attempt to work or attend this school for flight training. The lies this man and his associates dish out sound interesting. It is doubtful that the promises he makes will ever come to fruition. There are many accident reports on the NTSB website involving Air Safety aircraft.
I leave whoever reads this with these words. Tread very carefully around this company and the management team. Receive every promise, statement, financial obligation, and anything else that comes from management in writing. Good luck and safe flying.
