I know Ajit Dodani for some time now. He is a great man, and has helped a lot of people make money through the Amway business. I was part of another team that attends the same big meetings as Ajit's team, but I became temporarily inactive because I got distracted with other things in life. But ever since I've known him, he helped me change a lot of things in my life that have made me a better person, even though he was not in my upline line of sponsorship, that is, he had ZERO financial interest in my growth.
When I saw this report as I was surfing the internet I could not help laughing. Here is a guy who says he is a business major ... I hope he was paying attention at his classes because he does not seem to be learning much. He probably missed the fact that network marketing has become one of the biggest ways of doing business in the world today. Or maybe business school still has to jerk itself out of the 1980s syllabus and catch up with the times. Like any other business, of course, you better know what you are doing. That's where your mentor comes into the picture.
Given what Ajit has done for others, this comment is not really worthy of a response. However, I realize that a lot of people who are new to his team might see this report and get confused about who he really is. Some of them might even lose their dream of making it big in life.
So, lets set the records straight with some simple facts:
1. The $140 charged for registration (inclusive of taxes) used to break up into approximately $70 for Amway registration and $70 for a product introductory pack. That money goes straight to Amway - not Ajit Dodani. Since then the intro pack pricing has actually gone up to $97.74. Adding taxes etc, the current registration cost is approximately $170. Don't believe it? Go to www.amway.com, click on the "register" link at the top, in the grey box that says "new independent business owner" click on the button "Download Registration Documents" and you will get the registration form that gives you the breakdown of the registration cost ($50 + $12 + $97.74 + taxes). Amway charges the credit card directly. If the new IBO pays with cash or check, the sponsor will typically put it on his or her credit card.
2. Registration with a product introductory pack is one of the requirements to qualify for an Amway promotion that gives back to the new IBO, in their first three months of activity, $50 a month. Effectively, the IBO gets back $150 if they start building the business right. $170 minus $150 equals $20. It is so easy, that virtually every IBO who is getting into the team now and is working the business is making this money on top of their retail profit and other bonuses. No-brainer?
3. There's more. Registration with a product introductory pack qualifies the new IBO to participate in Amway's current Fasttrack promotion. If the IBO builds the business right, then they can qualify to make an additional $200 over and above all other bonuses and retail profits. So what is the total investment now? And that is just the beginning.
"If the IBO builds the business right" - those are the keywords here. It takes work. It takes listening to your experienced coach and doing what they recommend. I cannot think of a better coach and a better man than Ajit. Like this misguided business major, Ajit too came to a meeting one day invited by his brother and saw the business plan. He has since worked hard to assemble a great, culturally diverse team. There are high level professionals in his team: medical doctors, surgeons, CEOs, CFOs, engineers, PhDs and people with other big degrees who are learning from him and have been growing with him over years. These are NOT stupid people that they will buy into a scam. They are around today because of the value that Ajit has added to their lives - something that they have not got, even in their significant jobs.
In conclusion ... this is not about this misguided business major who wrote this complaint - Ajit has seen plenty of those, sure it doesn't bother him! - but it is about the people who will follow. I am writing this because I do not want someone to read this complaint and lose their dream before they even got started. My advice to someone who is surfing the internet looking for a reason why Amway does not work: stop being so skeptical and looking for the easy way out. Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are willing to work for your dreams. Also ask yourself if there is anyone in your life who is willing to guide you towards your dreams, somebody who has "been there, done that" and has a reason to help you. Get honest with yourself, turn off the browser, listen to your mentor, and get to work. In fact, I am going to go and do the same.
Best,

The price of 140 is the right price to join the Amway Global business its 70 for the IBO number and 70 for the Amway Global Kit this report is totally false.

Hi,
Sorry to hear that you or your friend felt ripped off here. I am sure your friend must have figured out by now that it was not a rip off after all. To get registered as a business owner, it costs $70 correct. The remaining $70 which they were suggesting is for intro pack of products. It is obvious that anyone that is not familiar with products and hasen't tried them, can't promote them. That is why most of the IBOs suggest to get started with $140. Money that anyone pays is directly to the company and there is no way to Ajit or anyone to put their had in between and take part of it. BTW all the money is 100% money back guaranteed if anyone wants to return anything. I suggest you trust people and talk to them personally before posting negative about them online. It's like posting negative about your dad for saying that you won't succeed in life if you don't go to school, because it is not corect by law. He was making a recommendation for you own good. And yes, if you don't like anyone you should by all means get started with someone else but please think twice before posting slander on the internet. I do not personally know Ajit, but I know he is a person or integrity. If anyone gets a chance to associate with people at that level of success (which is about the thought process and not money itself), they should consider themselves very lucky!!
Hopefully this helps. Good luck with everything!
Thanks!
