Ripoff Report

SCAM ALERT: ALIBABA.com Trade Assurance contract is a scam.

My personal experience with Alibaba.com owned by Alibaba Group holdings LTD. Is registered with the US Security and Exchange Commission.

Alibaba.com platform is in the business of uniting worldwide buyers with Chinese manufacturers and in order to promote their website platform and encourage buyers to place orders through their platform Alibaba will issue us buyers a Trade Assurance Contract in the amount of our purchase price in this case it was for $18,415.00.

The trade assurance contract stipulates that if their Chinese supplier was to commit a breach of contract that we would be entitled to a refund and this is Alibaba’s guarantee written clearly in our Trade Assurance contract with Alibaba, breach of contract is defined by any act by the Chinese supplier not supplying what is written in the contract. In our case we paid for 2000 watt electric scooters and they sent us 1200 watt scooters plus many damaged parts which automatically entitles us to a refund. This breach of contract was no accident it was a fraud that they Yongkang Haohao sent the wrong size scooters and also sent me a used non working UTV which was supposed to be new which we paid $2000. and damaged.

We reported this breach of contract with proof of the breach of contract with pictures through Alibaba.com immediately but it’s been 10 months since we first reported this problem but they continue to ignore our request for some sort of compensation and have refuse to acknowledge our contract with them. Now they are telling us that they are not responsible even though their trade assurance contract says that they would refund if there was a problem.

After dealing with them for more than 10 months with this problem and researching the internet and reading about a lot of companies here in the US who has experienced the same exact scenario we are totally convinced that Alibaba is commiting fraud with their Trade Assurance contracts.

Alibaba’s tactic is to wear you down to the point where you just call it quits and just write off your loses but it’s not that easy for small businesses when we are left with damaged product that we can’t sell, a lose like this can put some small businesses out of business.

I am totally convinced by my experience and many more all over the internet who have shared their personal experiences with Alibaba’s Trade Assurance Contract that this contract of theirs is a total SCAM and FRAUD so be very careful when doing business with Alibaba because you are NOT protected by their Trade Assurance Contract.

P.S. if you have experienced a similar problem with Alibaba.com feel free to email us and let us know
