..............as YOU say and suspect the whole game is rigged and it reaches the highest levels in the GOOD OLE BOYZ network of ft liquordale.............well historically;
what started out many years ago was a band of brothers that lived here year round found it very lucrative to SCREW the TOURISTs especially those from the NE that seemed to have more money than common "street" sense and therefore would unsuspectingly fall prey to all manner of scams and schemes
the tenticles of this organization have expanded into the pocket-books of year-round residents who for the most part ALL have their own stories of PREDATORY TOWING OPERATORS reaching into parking lots of CONDOs, retail strip MALLs, restaurants and even the SAWGRASS MILLs MALL
i calling MY town's municipal government officials to emulate laws enacted in the City of Sunrise to NOT allow such predatory activity, in my INITIAL telephone call three seperate administrators, or their wives and kids, had had their own run-ins with ALL COUNTY TOWING of ft liquordale over dubious towing of their cars
i observed these predatory operators of ALL COUNTY TOWING operators actually ransacking a stretch limo once only to learn later a good chunk of that lot had subsequently been sealed of as unaccessable to any vehicles - i guess they towed the wrong car - and of course a dispute recently led to a death by fatal shooting of a driver of ALL COUNTY TOWING by an irate vehicle owner who may have actually paid a condo administrator / "spotter" to leave his car alone (it was parked okay but had NO license plate (apparently a towable violation at that condo association parking lot)) but that spotter apparently called it in anyway (which relates to YOU paying someone on the lot to park your car however this person collecting your money may in fact subsequently call in your car as a "spotter" for your car to be towed away)
Spotter are aparently many times either hobos or vagrants or miscreants in need of that days FIX and yield whatever they can without considering the consequences of your misfortune in trusting them
its sad and for the most part it contributes to the downtown becoming an economy based on scams and schemes
BTW that lot you mention generated some $400,000 over three years in TOWing charges and fees as reported by local newspapers recently
