I called All My Sons Moving to get a quote for a 3rd floor to 3rd floor move. I was moving from Centennial to

Aurora. The rep I spoke to was very nice and seemed competent. My move was scheduled for 8/16 at 1 PM with two stops. The rep stated this would not be an issue and took down the address of the first stop as well as my new address. The Denver office was supposed to be the office handling my move, but they had an issue with the truck to be used for my move that day.

I received a call from a Manager at the Colorado Springs office stating they would be handling my move and the movers would be there about 3 PM. The Manager seemed nice and seemed competent.

The movers (Jessie and Jacob) arrived around 245 PM to my old address. Jessie and Jacob were professionally

dressed, friendly and worked at a fast, steady pace. They did not do any damage to my items, my old residence or my new residence. This is paramount, as I have some heavy, bulky items and they moved them with relative ease.

This is where the problem begins. After Jessie and Jacob were done moving my items to my new residence, Jessie called the Colorado Springs office so I could remit payment. Joel is the person who I spoke with. He advised me how much time I was being charged for, that there is a 12% fuel surcharge and a one hour charge for travel time. Joel conveniently offered to only charge me an 8% fuel surcharge. That was before I even told him I was not told about the fuel surcharge and the one our travel time.

I was not advised by anyone at any point that there would be a fuel surchage or that I would be charged one hour for travel time. This caused my move to cost approximately $170 dollars more than I expected. The total cost came to $572 and change. When I mentioned to Joel I was not advised of those charges, he did not even acknowledge my statement and just asked me how I would be paying. I provided a credit card and settled my charges.

I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The filing of that complaint resulted in a call from

Ashley Hudnall. Ashley works at the corporate office of All My Sons Moving. She advised that PUIC regulated

companies are required to charge travel time and fuel surcharges.

The day after I was contacted by a rep of the BBB, I called the Colorado Springs office to give them one more good faith effort to resolve this issue. I was asking for them to split the fuel surcharge and to refund me the entire one hour travel time. Joel right away became defensive and refused, stating these charges are required by the PUC.

I then told him I was going to post my experience to social media and he then became beligerent and stated "threats will get you no where". At this point, I just hung up.

Per the PUC website at http://cdn.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite?blobcol=urldata&blobheadername1=Content-

Disposition&blobheadername2=ContentType&blobheadervalue1=inline%3B+filename%3D%22Fiscal+Year+2013-14.pdf %22&blobheadervalue2=application%2Fpdf&blobkey=id&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1252014441266&ssbinary=true, a customer of All My Sons Moving contacted the PUC in 2014 and it was determined that All My Sons Moving was not in compliance.
