Complaint Review: All-N-One Handyman Service - Topeka Kansas

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!   We are Leasing a home to purchase after a year of trying out the home.  However, the house flooded from day one when we moved in the house.  RMS who were the realtor at the time came out the same day to fix the problem. They came out whenever we call them with any problem the same day, several times. This time the basement floods again and soaks up the hallway carpet.  The owner decided he was going to hire All-N-One Handyman Service and his personal friend, Darren to come out and fixed the problem. 

This is when our nightmare starts!!!  Darren comes out pulled up the basement carpet.  States we have black mold and the rotten wood needs to be pulled up and he needs to spray to treat the black mole. Never happen!!! He pulled up the carpet and left the black mold and rotten wood.  The basement has been sitting without the carpet and with the black mole and rotten wood for the past 3 years. We have 4 Sinkhole in backyard.  The largest one was cover up with a plywood by Darren and his crew.   A small pet could fall through the whole they so-called cover up. I have small dogs, Yorkies and a Chihuahua.  My husband and I took a piece of screen and covered it up with the plywood and large bricks around the whole sinkhole.  I'm not able to get on my riding mower to cut the grass due to the large sinkholes in my backyard. Darren and his crew also pulled up our backyard deck to see if the drainage was stopped up and causing all the backup inside of the house.  Plus water supposably was sitting underneath the deck and not draining properly. 

The Deck was removed and there was concrete underneath the deck, they left all the debris on the concrete, took the firepit, the rocks and plywood and threw it in my backyard, where it is still sitting every since early spring of this year.   So, of course my grass is dead and messy, look like ghetto people lives in the house.  Now there is wires  that is a hazard  in the backyard once they remove the deck.  THERE IS NO STEPS or anyway of walking out the back screen in porch door or garage door.   So it's a VERY STEEP STEP DOWN to go into the backyard.  I cannot step down without being very caution because my disability.    The washing machine upstair will backup with water and you will start smelling something sour, never been fixed, Darren just turned the water off upstairs laundry room. The bathtub in hallway when you flush the toilet backs up into the bathtub.   Water backs up into our dishwasher which we have never ever used. Once again you will start smelling this sour smell in the house, which is the dishwasher full of water.  This also happened from the beginning when we moved in the house 3 years ago.  Which Darren finally disconnected dishwasher after two and a half years.  But before he can disconnect the dishwasher it flooded the kitchen floor and damage the wooden floor. The wood swole up into a pyramid.   Darren cut some of the wood and then put nails all over the kitchen floor.   

This is a very unprofessional messy job.  You cannot walk around Barefoot in the kitchen because you will get a splinter in your foot.  There's 22 tiles that needs to be replaced in the basement ceiling.  Due to water damage!  Now Darren and his crew recently came into the house to put new pipes up in the basement ceiling.  His crew damage one of the tile frame in the back bedroom.  Claims that they never even went into that back bedroom. When they actually removed 4-5 tiles while doing the job. What he does not know is that I have pictures of before we moved in the house.  Along with all the work that him and his crew done since he has been coming out to do repairs to the house.   I ask Darren when they did work down in my basement for them to put a dropcloth down over my personal property and belongings to keep all the debris and dust from getting all over my things and home. They left my house a mess.  They came without a dropcloth and left my house a total mess.  I'll call his wife Debbie to try to get them back out to the house and she said to "leave her out of it, but she will contact Darren let him know" and I didn't hear back from him again until the owner came down from Canada on July 25th.  Then he walked around and told lies that he put up some tiles in the basement.  Darren and his crew never replace, not once, never even bought any tiles  in this house.  He removed the oven heating element. Darren was supposed to bring the heat element back the next day.  It's been a year now that I'm still waiting on Darren to put back  a new or back the old heating  element back into our oven.   I have not had good luck with anything that this company has done.   

Everything has been INCOMPLETED AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.  If I can give them a 0 * on Facebook I would, but it will not allow that ,so, I have to give them a 1*  and believe me when I say they do not even deserve the 1*  I pray that if anyone read this review think about this review and if any of you know me you can call me or come by my house and I'll show you the mess they left behind at this residence. Darren was never on time when he schedule an appointment with him. He was alway late or no show. Darren and he crew would also show up unannounced at my house. He very seldom reached you on your phone. Because he calls the wrong phone number or texts the wrong phone. My phone has been the same since he known me. THIS IS A SCAM!! A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!
