We purchased a vacation package from them, but never received a vacation. Instead, we received a letter stating that they had no availabilities.

The night we bought into this, we asked them repeatedly if there would be accommodations for Navarre, Fl. They assured us several times that this would be no problem. We filled out the certificate, sent it in (75 days in advance), and waited for a reply. Finally, one week before our vacation time, we received a letter informing us that there were no availabilities. We spoke with them several times over the phone, and told them if they had anything at all in the FL Panhandle, we would take it. We were told they had no availabilities, at all. This was ridiculous to us, with it being September, and every place we checked had availabilites.

We haven't been able to afford a lot of vacations while the kids were growing up, and wanted to do something that would enable us to vacation a little more often, and offer them opportunities to get away. This is what made us so gullible to a skam like this, I guess. It appeared legitimate, and they used locals to sell it, including one top student from MTSU. This is what made it so credible. We are sick about it!!

Much of the negativity of this company was found out, by myself and others that left, shortly before the end of our employment at All Points. Every since Sept. 11, 2001, the travel industry has fallen. Every year, around the same time, the media reminds everyone of the tragedy and travel companies slow down once again. It is hard for the company to pay for accommodations, at this time, because no money in-house. Every consumer pays an Annual Service Charge, up to $249.00. That is one of the incomes the company receives from the consumer, besides the original down payment, that is spent to pay bills right off hand. I know this, I worked in the Accounting Department. The other income the company receives is Reservations fees from the consumer, when they are requesting to travel. If there is no availability, the monies the consumer pays stay in the companies account, by signed contract, until they wish to travel once again. There is no refunds unless the consumer threatens to contact an agency on the matter. Then All Points comes up with the refund. Even with proper notice, All Points would find some legal contract excuse not to travel the consumer, because they spent the money on bills, marketing, and payroll. At this time, they would grab a handfull of reservation requests and send a non-available letter to the consumer, stating they can't find accommodations and their money stays with All Points until they wish to try to travel again. I knew this company was a scam and was going to go out of business. I was treated terrible by my employer and his wife and gave a two week notice. I ended up working an extra week. I never received any money owed to me from All Points. A matter of fact, after working there for 90 days, the company is suppose to pay for a portion of employees health insurance. My last paycheck was a blank check, with a deduction for all the insurance that they paid for me. So I paid for my insurance, they did not. I was also promised a commission for any unpaid, overdue charges the consumers owed. I never received that either. Joe Crowder, owner, used to hug and kiss me and promise me a raise and commission. Once I gave notice, everything changed. They told me that I owed them more money, for the money they put out for insurance. They never tried to collect because they knew it was illegal. It did not go threw our payroll company. All Points knew it was not legal to do that. It was a personal check from the employer. All Points Ripped me off.

90 Day Notice

Please review the documents that were given on the date of purchase for terms and conditions. Further please review the back side of any reservation request form and you will see where it states that for "prime time" destinations the company requires 90 days advance notice. A booklet was provided at the time of sale outling the prime times. In reading the complaint it appears All Points attempted to search and find a property even though the terms and conditions were not met. That search would continue until the customer prompts a halt on that search or in worse case if there simply was not a property that matched what was requested. At this point a letter is sent with a replacement reservation request. All Points sends in excess of 95% of its members that fills out the form correctly according to terms and conditions to there first or second choice destinations. Please review the back side of the request and submit with at least a 90 day advance notice and you will find the company to stand behind what was presented to you at the time of sale.
