Just to let all you travellers who like good deals know, all seasons travel are at it again. As of the 10th of June 2012, New Zealand, my wife and i recieved a phone call saying we had filled in an application and we had scored a great deal for a cruise from Florida to the Bahama's. Pretty much as other's have said it would cost $998 US. Just letting you know, be aware. It's ashame because there are many people out there who would love to go on a cruise, but these scam artists just kill it for all those who love to travel.

Hope no one else gets scamed, we are just lucky that my son and daughter were on to it.

Greg,
That is what I have been trying to tell these people that keep writing and saying it  is a ripoff, I know it is not and if they would understand it isn't free and it is a legit discounted vacation and that it is a great price, they will have a great trip when they get here. If I didn't live here in Florida I would buy one of these, but I am 30 minutes from Orlando. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Dear Geoff Jennings aka All Seasons Employee!

If you are going to write a report, do your research 1st!! Your so called 'glowing' reference to this company & your apparent 'wonderful' family holiday are very hard to believe when you don't even know where you come from???? To clarify .... Auckland is in New Zealand NOT Australia!!! You should be ashamed of yourself promoting scams so blatantly & embarrassed by your own stupidity! I hope karma comes knocking at your door!!!

SCAM BUSINESS NOT ACCREDITED

I want to make another statement and it'll be my last on this subject. If this outfit's upfront and providing a real business for travellers how come they're not accredited by the Florida Better Business Bureau ?

They're not because of the enormous number of complaints made against them, that's why.

STILL A MAJOR SCAM

Greg, remove your blinkers please and just read what's been reported over the years. They were not rude to me but I did get daily phone calls when I suggested I'd take it further to retrieve the money. If this isn't harassment I don't know what is and it's happened to others, going by the comments.

I say good for anyone who has had a trip out of them and hasn't had snarl ups along the way. They'd be in the minority.

I repeat, any business who does not keep their promise as regards the 30 day cooling off period is not a legit business and that's where I almost came to grief. Any business who treats prospective clients with disdain and rings constantly is not legit.

First off they can't take money out of your account without having the 3 digit number off the back of the card and that is a fact, so you had to have given that to them. I know they can be rude, that is probably what upset you the most. I have never ever seen them rip anybody off. I am just stating a fact also. I am sorry you missed out on a great vacation and I have done these myself and will continue to do so. The only thing that I have a problem with is having to do the time share presentation, cause it takes away from my vacation time with my family. I hope when you come to the US, you have a wonderful time. Also if you make it to Florida, enjoy Florida, cause I love it here, been here all my life. I am sorry you had a bad experience.

SOMEONE WHO STILL BELIEVES THEY"RE SCAMMERS

In reply to both the above correspondents, how come so many others were treated very rudely and arrogantly over the phone and had money taken out without permission ? If this is an upfront organisation this would never happen, also if the 30 day cooling off period really applied they'd get their misapproriated funds back, no question.

I had to wait for three months for a full refund and only because I alerted the Florida authorities. I say to those who have been stung contact the Florida Agriculture and Consumer Affairs to save any anguish these scam artists place upon you. Avoid like the plague is even better !

I know you think Astar Travel is a rip off, its not. I worked there for 2 yrs in the office and also on the phones. They don't rip people off, they send you exactly what you paid for. I have sold vacations for them, yes David Newberry is a idiot, but he isn't a rip off. So if you give them a chance you will have a great vacation here in Florida and in the Bahamas. Just thought y'all would like to know.

So I wanted to respond to this article in particular. I am married and a father of two children. We were looking to go on a vacation/holiday last year. I received a phone call from these people saying that I was qualified for a discounted holiday. it would be 998 dollars for the 4 of us. I was very skeptical at first and was in no way giving my information over the phone. I spoke to several people, who were trying to get my card number to sign me up for the trip, but I did not budge. I then hung up on them and did some research to see if this was legitimate. I found some things that made me believe that it wasnt. I then went on and did some for extensive research and found out they are a legitimate company, and a lot of what I read was people writing things that were either one just not true or two they just misunderstood the phone call. When I spoke with them they never said I won a contest, I was just qualified and they could give me a discount on it. I understood that part but still didnt want to give my card number over the phone. Sure enough a week later I got another call from them and it was the same thing, offering me the discounted holiday of 998 dollars. Having done the research I was much more comfortable and did give them my number. the 998 was charged and they emailed my my tickets and documents within 3 days. My family and I just returned from the holiday 3 weeks ago, and it was an incredible trip. I felt the need to clarify some of these negative reports about this company. Anyways I hope this helps some of you looking to go on a usa holiday. Cheers Greg
