All State Van Lines I HAD TO CALL THE COPS Margate Florida
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.
I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE ON THEM WHEN THEY DELIVERED MY STUFF.
First they refused to unload the truck without being paid, eventhough on the contractual paper it says cleary and in red letters NOT TO PAY until all items are counted.
They were extremely abusive of my wife and packed FRAGILE boxes at the bottom of heavy ones and trowing those boxes around when arrived, dented fridge door, broken dishes, lights.
Just found out today that the missing items, Photo equipment, that they said was insured, was never disclosed that it’s per cents/pound, not value. Meaning that if an item worth $1000 but weight 1pound , they only pay for $.60 cents, so you i just got loss of $999.40.
Again, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I HAD TO CALL 911 ON THEM, I feared for my safety and my family.

Thank you for the report! This is super helpful for us as we are currently looking at various moving companies, so I know now not to even bother calling or checking into this company.
I do have a question, why would you trust them with valuable photo equipment tho? I personally am planning to pack my $800 DSLR camera in my special backpack designed for photographers and transport it separately via my vehicle. I would *never* trust a mover with high value items such as my camera or my computer equipment, period.
At least now I know to be wary of per-pound insurance that sounds like quite the rip off, thank you for the heads up!
