All Tune And Lube - Newport News - Charles Perry RIPPED US OFF AND TRIED TO STEAL FROM US. CHARLES PERRY IS A LIAR AND A THIEF Newport News Virginia
My husband and I were victims of all tune and lube/charles perry. Charles Perry is the owners of All tune and lube..NOT the MANAGER...my husband and I were both military and stationed apart, vet's day 06, I was driving from my duty station to VA (his) when my engine blew ( had a 9 yr old and a 4 month old with me). We got to VA and being new there(he had jsut pcs's a month earlier) we kknew no one and they gave us the best quote and warranty for a new engine. They had the car a month and a half and kept giving us the run around, got it done adn I took it back to pa..ran fine for ONE week until I got to work and it started smoking and coughing.
I called my husband who called chuck and after going rounds with chuck, he finally agreed to send a tow truck up to pick up my car to fix a "brand new engine". Fast forward a week and we find out he charged us 5 grand and sent me on my way (with TWO kids) and THEY NEVER REPLACED MY ENGINE..IT STILL HAD THE OLD ENGINE IN IT. He knew I had children with me, he knew we were both military and he did this anyway.
Thankfully, due to well connected family members, we hired an attorney and mr perry was forced to refund the money (well to the new shop to pay for a REAL new engine) and tow my car to another location, provide us with a rental and we would agree not to sue or press charges, however, he still did not live up to his end. My old engine was not in the car (as specified that it had to be) and his check bounced for the rental and we had to cough up the money for that until the rental agency went after him..in the meantime screwing us financially.
IF YOU SEE AN ALL TUNE AND LUBE, TURN THE OTHER WAY AND RUN RUN RUN. They are thieves, liars and cheats. If I was not so exhausted after 6 months w/o a car, we would have sued (and I am still thinking about it), and fighting tooth and nail to get what is right, mr perry would be in jail where he deserves to be.
