All-Tune and Lube in Hixson, (Chattanooga) Tennessee , Rip-off!
Had my vehicle towed to the All-Tune and Lube in Hixson, TN to find out why the car died when placed in gear. They told me that the transmission was shot and that they could install a used one for about $1400.00. I could not afford this and had the car towed to my house after paying the $58.00 diagnosis. After a thourogh inspection I found that the airbreather hose was cracked and would pull apart when placed in gear, causing the car to die. I replaced the hose for $75.00 which in turn fixed the car. I am no mechanic, but was able to find a simple problem that professionals could not. Was this just a simple mistake? I don't think so!
