Allied Interstate rude, verbally abusive employees, ripoff Nationwide
I was contacted this afternoon by "Jeremy" from Allied Interstate, in reguards to a back Qwuest telephone bill that I admit that I owe.
I tried to explain my situation to them. Right now, I am on state assistance while my fiance and I are both attending school to get off assistance and get good jobs.
I told Jeremy this, and he started in with verbal belittlement such as "Well, if you weren't sitting on your a*s, on welfare, taking my tax dollars, you would be able to pay your bills"
I am not just sitting on my a*s as he put it, I have an 18 month old baby and between school and motherhood, I can't work because I cannot afford daycare.
I reported him to a supervisor, and she promptly called me back and was still trying to collect money. She was at least polite and explained everything to me in a decent manner. I am still not able to pay them, and I know the harrasment is going to continue.
I am just tired of being belittled on the phone because I am low income and I cannot fork out 200 dollars in one shot. If anyone goes ahead with a class action suit for harassment, count me in.

I had a run in with Allied Interstate over a bill. They called me threatened me with legal action and I paid my bill in full by wiring them the money. They then started calling and harrassing me again. The stupid people that they are sent me a bill and I had the receipt from wiring the money and I had overpaid them. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General office here in Montana who in turn forwarded my complaint to the Attorney General's office in Nevada. I also filed a complaint with the FTC. If I was you nail them. I would also tell them when they call to not call you again and then send them a Cease and Desist letter. Forward everything to the FTC and the Attorney General's Office. The idiots at Allied called me after I sent them a certified letter of cease and desist a total violation of the law. Once again I reported it to the FTC. Take no mercy.
