I cancelled my contract with Alltel after 2 days of service. I only used about 8 minutes on the phone, and called the office and spoke with Flo and Susan about cancelling my service. They both told me that they will credit the acct back to the day that I contacted the office, and said they will send me a fedex label, which they did.

I received the phone on 3/18/03 and I used the phone for 2 days and decided I wanted to cancel the contract and return the phone. I called and cancelled service on 3/20/03 and took the phone into the Lakeland Drive store on 3/21/03 because I spoke with someone in customer service on 3/20/03 and they told me that I could take the phone back into the store and they will fedex it back to the customer service department.

They sent me the label which I received 3/23/03 and I had fedex come to my job for a fedex 2 day package which is what the label said on 3/24/03. I called the office on 4/14/03 wondering why I have not received my credit and was told that I am not due a credit because they did not diconnect the phone until 4/11/03 which is not my fault for the slow processing.

This is when I called the 1-800-511-0126 and asked for Flo or Susan Gray and she stated both were on the phone, and I asked her if she can help me and she agreed and I explained the situation to her and she said that I was already told what was going on with the acct and I explained to her that this was not right and very wrong for the way they are treating me and she told me that it was not their fault that federal express did not send the package back to them on the 11th of April and I need to call them, because I am not due back my $25.11 that I paid for only 2 days of d**n service.

I am very upset and very hurt right now for the way this company is treating me. Pleas help!help!help! I want my money back.

First of all, I'm terribly sorry that you had problems with Alltel. Just so you know, Alltel offers a 15 day "no risk" guarantee that allows new customers to try the service out and cancel the contract with no penalties. You should not have been charged anything except whatever the eight minutes you used would have cost(I would guess a maximum of $5.00). I would call 1-800-Alltel and ask to speak to a supervisor. Alltel has a way of working their way into customers pocketbooks as often as they can! It will eat a person alive! Please feel free to contact me if you need anything else! Hope this helps!
