AM Press Assoc. College kids working for scam company Or are they they the ones pulling the scam Miami Florida
On August 14th 2007 two proclaimed college students came to my door selling magazines. Normally I dont buy or give to anyone. This incident reminds me why I have that policy.
Needless to say, I felt bad, and agreed to buy a coupon book. Said book was to have 1.00 coupons good for any item that I wanted to purchase. I explained to the kids, that I buy organic food, they said, no problem. Coupons can be used on ANY item. The cashier just writes in the item.
Months later I received a coupon book from a company called couponsavers.com The book however, is not at all what I was told I would get. In order to get any coupons, you need to go online and order them. Then you pay a shipping fee. They do not have coupons that can be used on ANY item, only the items they have coupons for. Basicly, it is just what you would get in the Sunday paper.
When I contacted couponsavers they were less than helpful. They suggested I ask AM press for my money back, ya right. I think I need to file a complaint against them as well.
Bottom line, this is a huge scam company. These people lied to me, knowing full well they were not telling the truth.
