AMAZON.COM KYDC, INC Answered ad on Craigslist for apartment sublease & wanted to include $3k for us to receive a auto purchase, sent bogus check Seattle Washington
Daughter needed to sublease her apartment, recieved a response to a posting on Craigslist. Person said they were from another country doing grad work. Daughter asked to facetime or video chat to make sure she was for real and was refused. Wanted us to take delivery of a car purchase and sent a check for rent,security deposit and a extra $3K for said car purchase. Went to our bank and as I knew the check was bogus and when the bank manager called the fraud department, found out that there were several other checks presented to this bank today, same situation.
These people need to be stopped.
