As mentioned, phone calls and emails were not returned UNTIL I posted this report. "Barry" from the London office finally called me and was very apologetic about the miscommunication from their NY office. He was really good at easing my mind and assuring me that now that he is involved that my payment will be sent. We discussed what was owed to me and I was assured that I would receive payment by Christmas. He even asked that once I was paid if I would write a positive update about how the situation was handled! HA! Here it is, February 16th and no payment!
On January 24th, I sent this email:
I last spoke to Barry on 1/10/2011 and he informed me that my check was going to be couriered to NY that week. As of 1/24/2011, I have yet to receive this check. I feel that we have been BEYOND understanding with your company considering we were supposed to be paid back in September! Someone please provide me with an update and a firm shipment date. I'm becoming extremely impatient with this issue.
Two days later, January 26th, I received this email:
Unfortunately it was my error. I miscalculated how long it was going to take to resolve this. A cheque was couriered last night to New York. Hopefully this will make its way to you shortly.

Like I said, as of FEBRUARY 16th, NO CHECK! On February 7th, I sent this email and have yet to receive a response:
Can someone in the New York office confirm that my check was received from the UK and has been mailed to my house...two weeks later?!
This is ridiculous. I really don't see how this company still has clients!!
