Ameriquest Bait and switch tactics, ripoff deception, tricked and lied to us I am out $600 and still don't have a loan. Liberty Lake Washington
Ameriquest checked my credit and said I should have no problem getting a 6% rate for a 15 yr. loan if the home apprised for $80,000. It did, and I was sent a bill for $400 for the appraisal. I paid the bill appraisal bill and was then told that my mortgage payments werent paid on time and that I would now have to pay 9% for 30 yrs. I also only wanted to borrow the $45,000 needed to close the loan with my old landlord and was told the lowest amount I could borrow was $60,000. They ran 3 info checks on my escrow account " why did they need to run 3" and I was charged $200 to my current loan for that.
I am out $600 and still don't have a loan. I wasn't going to sign their rip off deal. Is there any way of getting them to pay the fees?
