America On Line ripoff,They charged me for service after I canceled Internet
AOL also ripped me off when I was in Florida.I was moving back up North and tried to cancel because I wouldn't be there anymore.The said you still have some free time don't you want to just use it.I was at my sisters at the time so I figured I would let them use it until the time was up.I even asked AOL if I would have to call back later to cancel and thier represenative say's"OH NO WE WIll Cancel It for YOU".I didn't use the checking account much so I didn't get into it for a while and the next thing I know I have a $25 over draft because uf insunnificant funds.
So it cost me for the service I didn't use plus a over draft charge. When I came to North Carolina My Ex had the service from a friends account and it didn't cost her anything so we kept it.
I only used it to sign on with anyways.We lost the free part and temperally took a free 45 day AOL account.(It was the easiest thing to do at the time)When I tried to cancel they did all the could to try to talk me into taking 2 months free even by ignoring what I was saying to him.
Finally I convinced him to cancel me,I Hope.They get you to take the free months hoping and banking on you forgetting to cancel it until they get a couple more months out of you.And if you don'y delete thier hardware from you computer it messes up any other ISP you try to use.IT's done it to me.So they are no longer on my PC>
