Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was called by JP about my interest in shipping my car,I told Jp I lready had a company that had agreed to ship my car,and for a decent price. Jp then promised he could do better,so I listened and  I agreed to the terms in which he layed out and sent me in a email of a final quote on moving my car , I have listed the quote below. I waited until the day before my car was to be picked up and I called to find out what time the car would be picked up,only to be given the run around all day,by both JP and the receptionest. I finally recieved a call late in the day from Nate saying he was the disptatch Manager saying that he could pick up the car but it was going to cost more. He said the snow birds started leaving earlier and that he had to charge more.Hmmm he could call me a week before or a day before he tried to pull a bait and switch right there. I cancelled my lst guarenteed movve and transport to go with this company and they pulled this; Iam now left with no company to move my car and it is supposed to be moved the next day. The quote below explains it all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY,THEY WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY AND FROM WHAT i HAVE READ FROM OTHER POST THEY WILL ALSO HOLD YOUR CAR HOSTAGE !!!

I have left 2 messages and 4 emails to my rep trying to have someone to give me an update on our 2005 Tahoe transport.

Yesterday the AHA transport Co called after picking up our vehicle and wanted an additional $75 and I told her to read my confirmation, ( I put in the envelope with my check for payment so that our daughter would not be responsible for any money on delivery) which states I only owed a $500 balance having given a $100 deposit. I cannot get anyone to return my calls or emails.  I do not think this is a very upfront way of doing business and in fact borders on "shady".

Apologies, but the situation has been resolved

Although this was indeed an unfortunate turn of events, this customer was not transported by us, but no scam, in any sense of the word, has occurred here. This situation has already been resolved.

We get daily dispatch reports on the availability of drivers along particular routes, and we have means of spreading the word about this availability to our customers. The customer that filed this report apparently received notice from JP. However, there are occasions where we do overbook. This is especially true when we find carriers that do routes at prices at that are under the national averages: customers are eager to find good deals. When this kind of thing occurs as it does from time to time, we make sure to apologize to the customer. But given that we do not accept any payment until our job is done as a matter of policy, we never took a cent from this customer.

The gist of it is this: we overbooked, said customer is disgruntled. But we've apologized and he hasn't been charged in any way. Again, we are sorry sir, but this kind of thing happens from time to time throughout this industry and many others.
