American Credit Solutions Ripoff: they sent my check in under different numbers twice after I put a stop payment on the original one Tampa Florida
I was sent a yellow postcard saying that i would get a platinum visa credit card with a $4,000 credit limit, all I had to do was call the 800 # and confirm.
well I did this and I spoke to Peire and he guarnateed me that i would get the visa in time for christmas and all i had to do was pay 199.95 to secure it.
well I gave them the information needed and my banck acct. number along with a voided check number,and i was told i could cancel this at any time.
Something about this kept bugging me and i decided to cancel it, so i called and told the custmer srevice rep that i wanted to cancel and she told me it was to late that my check had went in.
So I called my bank and found this to be untrue and i had my bank put a stop payment on the check, but to my suprise they put the check through under a different number 999.
I got charged with an overdraft, i did not have the money in the bank, becasue i only get SSi and they put it through a second time and this time they got my rent money also.
If anyone has been successful in getting their money back will you pleas let me know how and I read somewhere that someone elses bank honored these debits and had to refund them.
thier money becaus they were not supposed to honor this due to the fact that it had stop payment for this amount on it good for 6 months.
