American Express - NCO collections ripoff Ft Lauerdale Florida
On 1/3/06 the charge off amt. was $866.08, but when the NCO Financial Systems, Inc.(ref#AZ8471)got it the amt. was $541.08, because I had made payments in June 2005 until I could afford to pay off in 1/3/06, which was the date entered into their system. I received a notification dated 7/14/06, that I owe $383 interest & late charges & siad I needed to pay that amt.
I spoke to a rep at 1-800-879-4358. I spoke to several rep.(s) who demanded I pay that amt. Their explaination was that the $58 accrued this $383in interest & late fees were from June 2005. I was instructed to call 1-800-537-7326 to request a copy of my payment history from NCO Financial Stytems,Inc./Am. Express,& was told reluctantly they would send a copy to my home address. I spoke to (2) rep.(s) from NCO Financial,1-800-322-2608 per Chermaine Gowan & Maureen S.says that the $58 bal. due were late charges turned in after the charge off amt. & late charges of $29 was paid in 1/06. I ahve been trying to access the NCO Financial website to pull up a coppy of my payment history & was unsuccessful. I need some assistance to clear the matter up.
