American Home Mortgage Servicing Is a fraudulent would-be mortgage company Irving Texas
I am warning homeowners who had a loan with the defunct AMERICAN HOME MORTGAGE company (2008) that the present outfit parading under the same name albeit the SI is in fact a COLLECTION Agency which should have transited the assets to a genuine lender, but did not.
Seeing a money-making loophole, they upgraded themselves to the title of a lending institution but kept their aggressive and predatory practices with unsuspecting clients. They appear to be totally incompetent, when in fact I have no doubt at this point that they are willfully trying to defraud the clients they grabbed from the prior institution. They brazenly refuse to release loans of unjustified escrow accounts while piling up bogus charges in those accounts. Communication with a live person is extremely difficult and letters are signed by straw persons who, I eventually was told, do not exist as represented.
In addition, all calls to CSRs end up in India to persons whom I cannot understand and who cannot understand me in turn. They usually read from a script and if stopped, they spend the rest of the time apologizing profusely but nothing is ever addressed seriously. They are just a dead-end buffer. As a last resort, a senior officer from the lending company who had provided me with the original loan, tried to help by scheduling several conference calls with India. He managed to obtain a verbal commitment of sorts that the removal of the escrow from my loan would be reviewed. Nothing came of it.
At this point, I am going to file a lawsuit against the predatory practices of this bogus lender and claim emotional damages. The telephone and written harassment I have received from AHMSI has been horrendous and is still ongoing. Alternatively, if there are enough of us victims of this outfit, I would like to hear from you because we may be able to upgrade to a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
