American Homes 4 Rent AH4R DO NOT RENT FROM AH4R in Dallas - You will be miserable! Richardon, Texas
We have been renting from AH4R Dallas for only three weeks and really regret it. We were sold on the idea that "everything" would be taken care of and that renting from a corporation will provide a much less stressful environment over a over-reaching family.
Well, since our move-in we have had issue after issue, as we are the first tenants to live in the home after they bought the foreclosure. What we thought was a rehab job was just a paint job. Every day something is breaking... in the last three weeks the A/C has broken, Dishwasher, Plumbing has overflowed, Disposal broke, Sprinklers busted and flooding the yard and the list goes on and on.
This would be livable if the management team was responsive and communicated, however, we have had broken commitment one after another. They do not return calls. We can only catch them if we call from different #'s and then they quickly hang up the phone and "promise" to call tomorrow. They are liars. They do not care. They are all scheming together somehow.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! This is a living hell.

I am so sorry for all that you have gone through. I am with you, they are co unethical and definately do not return calls and they do ignore you. I actually heard them say " I not taking thier calls, I dont want to deal with them, they will be getting my voice mail from now on: on another occasion i called and my call was ignored. i called another ext which was answered but heard the previous person I called say "if I call their not their" I guess they didnt expect me to call another line right back. American Homes 4 Rent absolutley lie about calling you back. they treat you as a bother. I agree that they are all togehter in it becasue you can tell when you do speak to someone else and how their attitude is with you ans its your first time talking to them. My situation is more on the financial side but I am definatley fighing this.
Definately going through hell with these people.
