I do not understand how this company is geting by with everything it has done. Back in Nov.2004 I contacted the MN Attofney Generals and the Dept. of Commerence in my state. They are suppose to work for the people. Are they I FEEL NO. Ameriquest appraised my home for 105,000.00 dollars which I had no clue about until I went to refinance in Oct.2004. I was asked about my loan to value by another lender. At that time I had no ideal what they had appraised my home for.Our loan was for 78,500.00, on a two fixed with A 28 year arm. My husband was unemployed for two months in Sept.2004. which they knew. In Nov. we could only make one payment which they refused. Our home is know in forecloser and they also have given us the option of a short sale. My home is listed at a realitor for 38,500.00.They had another apprail on April 12th 2005, but will not give it to us. I also had a loan back in 2003 with Household which was for 44,500.00 they lost the mortgage on that loan so I have no satifaction at the recorders office that that mortgage was ever paid off by Ameriquest/AMC. That mortgage was never recored at all. It was sold to American Mortgage Services in Aug.2004 then to Household neither one of these companies recored it at the Watonwan County Recorders Office.I feel Ameriquest needs to be investigated by someone that we step in and do something ,but where and who do you contact. Please if you got anybody that you know can help me let me know.
