Ameritrust Financial NOTHING TO TRUST ABOUT THIS COMPANY! ripoff San Francisco California
This co. recently contacted me wanting my bank info for them to draft 2 payments of $100 from my account. I told them I needed to make sure they were a real company. They provided a call back #, and answered when I called, plus I had heard of a company call "Ameritrust" before, so I thought they were legit. The co. I was thinking of is Ameritrust Mortgage, which is a legit co., but this isn't them. I checked my bank balance on the day they were supposed to make the 1st draft and it wasn't made. I called the customer service # they provided, but no one answered & it went to a voice mail box.
After 2 days of calling the #, I became concerned and "googled" their name and found this website. I called my bank and went in to put a stop payment on any drafts they tried to make out of my bank acct. I also looked on my phone log files and still had the "405" # (it's listed as a land line in San Francisco, CA) Ameritrust called on, so I called it. The rep said I would have to talk w/ customer service & hung up. I called back several times and a lady named Cathy said she canceled the transaction & provided a confirmation #.
I told her my bank wanted to get their ACH # (co. ID)to insure no drafts were taken out & she promised to give it to my bank representative. When the bank called, Ameritrust refused to provide ACH # and threatened my bank with legal action.
Ameritrust tried to make 2 drafts, but so far has not been able to. As soon as all of my checks clear my bank, I'm closing the account & opening a new one & I would suggest anyone else who has provided this co. their bank info do the same. It's very sad that we live in a world with low life's like this trying to take advantage of people!

This is a situation that we would definately want to clear up. We would need more information from the customer to look up her account information. When a customer signs up for our program they are always given a customer service number to respond with any questions or concerns. The other number that she is referring to is the acutal sales number and they would direct her to the customer service department. We do need more information to clear this up.
