On December 31, 2016 I ordered a Desktop Coffee Tea beverage warmer through Walmart.com.  the item cost $32.22 which includes shiping.  The item was suppose to arrive between JAN 10 and JAN 16 2017.  As of February 1, 2017 the item was still not received.  I called Walmart.com on February 1 to find out what happened to my order.  The woman I spoke to said that Wal-Mart order this item through another company called AMI Ventures Inc.  She said that I would have to speak with one of their representatives to get the problem resolved.  She then placed a phone call with AMI and handed me off to their Rep.

  When tried to speak with him he APPEARED to not hear me because just kept saying hello and then eventually hung up.  I was given a phone number for this company by the Wal-Mart Rep so I was able to call them back but it took several attempts to get somebody to pick up and when they finally did, the connection was so bad I could only hear about every other word he said.  On top of that, English was obviously not his first  language so it was like pulling teeth getting him to understand what I wanted.  I was planning on having them reship the item but after all of this hassle I decided to just ask for my money back.    I was not able to find an internet site for AMI Ventures INC nor could I find and email address for them. 

The only contact information I could find was their phone number.  Supposedly I will be getting an email confirmation from them telling me that I am being refunded my money but I am not optimistic.   Mail order companies these days should be required to have multiple ways to be contacted, i.e. email address, chat session, and phone.  I believe that Wal-Mart also shares some of the responsibility for this since they are the ones who went through this company to fill my order through their web site.  For that matter, they should be the ones that has to handle issues regarding any orders that go through their company as it is an Agent Principle relationship between the two companies.
