Andre Powell Westwinds Studios Beware of Fraud and Theft Chesterfield Missouri
Andre Powell attempts to gain the trust of local business owners by promising to give them thousands of dollars worth of business from Westwinds Studios. Don't be fooled. The business doesn't exist and he is just looking to sell you a portrait package where your photos are turned into a pastel painting, oil painting, ink, etc... He will guilt you into buying his package, take your check and photos, cash the check and you will never see the merchandise. Additionally, he scams you into doing some work for him for free, such as frame portraits that he will use to scam someone else. However, he never pays for the work. He has a criminal record and is good at what he does so beware!!

I met this guy at Harrah's Casino last week in St. Louis Mo while I was in town visiting family, and he approached my Mother and me while we were there. He proceeded to tell me about his business and that he needs an "Administrative Assistant Director" and offered me a job. Of course I was suspicious since I have absolutely no business experience, which I told him and he said it didn't matter. He talked about the Pictures he makes into art and is also doing something with Comic Book Characters?? He almost had me fooled into moving back to St. Louis to work for him after I met with him a second time. He promised me a large salary, company car and the whole nine yards. I too, did research online and found this report, THANK GOD! And I am so thankful that you put this out here! I checked him out on Missouri Casenet.com first, but I wasn't sure what his middle initial was, until I found this info. He has cases older than I am! Don't be fooled into changing your whole life around for the false promises. I was almost taken by this guy because he stated he knew my Uncle, who is a very reputable man and well known around the community for doing God's work. However, my uncle doesn't know him and neither did anyone else that he said he knew.

WELL, I DO KNOW THIS PERSON VERY WELL OR SO I THOUGHT. I HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR A VERY LONG TIME, AND HE IS SO GOOD I KNEW NONE OF HIS LONG HISTORY AND CRIMINAL RECORD. UNTIL I GOT CURIOUS OF HIM AND ALL OF HIS EXCUSES AND STARTED DOING SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET ON HIM. IF YOU REALLY WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING, GO TO MISSOURI CASE NET.COM AND DO A SEARCH ON HIS FIRST AND LAST NAME HE HAS A HISTORY DATING WAY BACK TO 1988, AND NOT ONLY IN MISSOURI HE HAS DONE HIS DEEDS IN TEXAS ALSO. BY THE WAY HE ALSO GOES BY "ANDY", ANDRE F. POWELL, AND ANDRE LOCKETT POWELL. THE MISSOURI ATTORNEY GENERAL HAS FILED CHARGES ON HIM FOR FRAUD AGAINST HOME OWNERS FOR DOING CRAPPY OR FAILING TO DO CONSTRUCTION WORK ON HOMES REQUESTING A DOWN PAYMENT FOR THE WORK PRIOR TO STARTING THE WORK. AND HE HAS BEEN BANNED FROM DOING THAT TYPE OF WORK IN THE FUTURE, IS ON PROBATION AND WAS ORDERED TO PAY RESTITUTION. BY THE WAY THE BROCHURES HE HAS PRINTED UP FROM HIS "COMPANY" HE DID NOT OBTAIN THE LEGAL CONSENT TO USE THEM IN HIS ADS. AND AS THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS STATED HE IS GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES, AS HE SHOULD BE HE HAS HAD OVER 20 YEARS OF EXPIERENCE.
